From Data to Decisions: Using Continuous Glucose Monitoring for Weight Management and Wellness

Speaker: Kayla Girgen, RD, LD, CPT earned her dietetics degree from Minnesota State University-Mankato and completed her dietetic internship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. As a self-employed online coach, Kayla specializes in using data-driven tools like Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) to help women break free from dieting and build lifelong healthy habits. When she’s not coaching, you’ll find her cooking, reading, or rucking with her husband Jeremy.

Objectives: 1) Understand the benefits (and limitations) of CGM technology for people without diabetes, 2) Identify glucose patterns & nutrition interventions to influence weight loss & well-being, and 3) Review case studies & practical approaches for using CGM data to enhance client adherence and patient outcomes.

Cost: $10 for SDAND Members, $20 for non-members
